Po 5 latach współpracy z Sunday Bikes, Karl Poynter zdecydował zmienić sponsora, od tej pory jest nim Eastern Bikes. Oto co napisał Karl na stronie Sunday Bikes:

“I will be no longer riding for Sunday Bikes, but will still be supporting the brand and selling Sunday’s innovative product through my shop, Hardcore Sportz. I definitely want to make note that I had a good time riding and working with Sunday, from brain storming on new ideas, to the road trips, and everything inbetween. I really appreciate what everything Sunday has done for me. It’s been a fun 5 years and I wish Jim and Sunday the best!”
